FROM “I NEED A KEY” TO “LET'S BUILD”

A small ask. A helpful little agent.

You tell DevKeyring what you need. It handles the clicking, searching,
and form-filling, with you there for the important bits.

  1. 01 / THE ASK

    Tell us what you're building.

Choose a service and share your app name, callback URL, and the access you need. Give your agent a place to start.

  2. 02 / THE LEGWORK

    Your agent finds the way.

It opens the website in your browser, reads the page, and navigates the setup flow using the session you already have.

  3. 03 / THE GOOD PART

    Approve it. Keep the key.

You handle sign-ins and approve important actions. Review credential capture, then copy your key from the encrypted local vault.

HELPFUL BY NATURE. CAREFUL BY DESIGN.

A little copilot.
You're still
the captain.

Your agent works in a tab on your device. You choose which sites it can visit, and it pauses when it needs you.

Get to know our security model

Your session stays yours.

DevKeyring uses your existing browser session. It doesn't read your cookies. Passwords, MFA, and CAPTCHA stay with you.

You get the final say.

Approve the sites your agent can access, review button actions, and confirm before credentials are captured.

Your keys live at home.

Captured credentials are encrypted with your passphrase and saved in the extension on your device. Their values aren't sent to the planner.

The AI receives your task and redacted page context. Redaction is heuristic, so use it on setup pages you're comfortable sharing with your chosen planner.

A FEW THINGS YOU MIGHT WONDER

Good questions.
Simple answers.

A little clarity before takeoff.

How does the AI actually get my API keys?

The extension opens the developer website in your browser. Your chosen AI planner reads a redacted view of the page and suggests the next action, like opening settings or filling in your app name. You review button actions and credential capture. Once approved, the extension saves the captured key in your local encrypted vault.

Do I have to give DevKeyring my passwords?

No. DevKeyring uses your browser's existing session. If a site needs a login, MFA code, CAPTCHA, or consent, the agent pauses so you can complete it directly on the website, then resume the run.

Will it work with every developer website?

There are setup recipes for X, Threads, LinkedIn, Bluesky, and Mastodon, plus a custom-site option. This is a developer alpha: provider dashboards change, some flows need a hand, and universal coverage isn't guaranteed.

Can I use my own AI agent?

Yes. Bring an OpenAI-compatible model API key, connect a local model, or use the local CLI bridge with Codex, Pi, or OpenCode. Those modes don't require a DevKeyring purchase. Pro is a one-time purchase that includes the hosted planner.

Where do my API keys go?

Into the extension's encrypted vault on your device, protected by your passphrase. You can explicitly copy them when you're ready. There is no passphrase recovery or vault backup UI yet, so keep your passphrase safe. Deleting the extension can remove your saved vault.
